TAKEOFFS & ESTIMATING

Know the quantities.
See the scope.

Quantity takeoffs and estimating support for contractors preparing their next bid. A clear workbook, marked-up plans and a scope brief you can work from.

01 BUILT AROUND YOUR SCOPE

From drawing set to an organized quantity package.

Tell us your trade, project and bid requirements. We review the scope and documents before agreeing on deliverables, a custom quote and a delivery date.

THE CORE PACKAGE

Three connected deliverables, with drawing references and consistent item identifiers so quantities can be traced back to the plans.

01

Editable quantity workbook

An XLSX workbook organized around the agreed trade or zone, with item descriptions, quantities, units, drawing references and material assumptions.

02

Marked-up PDF plans

A matched set of marked-up plans showing where the measured quantities came from, linked to the workbook by consistent item identifiers.

03

Short scope brief

A concise record of the drawing set and versions reviewed, included work, assumptions, exclusions and unresolved questions.

ADD SUPPORT WHERE YOU NEED IT

More detail.
Your workflow.

OPTIONAL ADD-ON

Bid scope sheets

A deeper breakdown by system, type, size, finish and location, including interfaces, alternates, allowances and open decisions. Scope documentation for review—not engineering or shop drawings.

OPTIONAL ADD-ON

Client-template support

Map quantities and cost codes into your functioning workbook, enter client-provided or approved rates, check formulas and reconcile totals. Missing rates and inputs are flagged for your decision.

A CLEAR START

Agree the scope.
Then measure.

Every project is quoted individually. Scope, document quality, complexity and available capacity shape the work and delivery date.

Tell us about your project ↗
  1. 01Start with a short inquiry

Tell us the trade or zone, project type, drawing availability and required bid date. The inquiry form prepares an email for you to review and send.

  2. 02Confirm the documents and quote

We arrange document sharing directly, review the relevant plans and addenda, then agree on inclusions, exclusions, deliverables, fee and schedule.

  3. 03Review the package

Receive the quantity workbook, marked-up plans and scope brief. Review assumptions and open questions before using the package in your bid.

CLEAR BOUNDARIES

The work is scoped to your project. Changed drawings, addenda or new requirements are reviewed separately.

01

Quantity and scope support

Engineering, fabrication cut lists, field verification and connection design are outside this service. Independently developed installed pricing and bid submission are also excluded.

02

Your final bid decision

You provide or approve rates for template support and approve the final bid. Sankara checks its deliverables, flags unresolved items and corrects its own errors.
